AREA SALES MANAGER

Job Overview
This is an external role with elements of working from home when applicable and an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful team and business. The successful candidate will represent Forza Doors with a view to developing and growing the sales of its products and services to both existing and new contractors/customers. You will be expected to achieve company objectives and targets by planning effectively, analysing sales data, and tracking quotes and projects whilst establishing and nurturing client relationships. In addition, you will need to be able to work independently and create a strong relationship with both internal and external team members with a proven track record in external sales.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Word and Excel
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and effectively to meet required deadlines
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Management of Database / CRM
  • Presentation skills
  • Account Management Skills
  • Fire Door / Ironmongery / Passive Fire basic knowledge is desirable by not essential as full training will be provided.

BUSINESS SUPPORT - Midlands & North

Job Overview 

This is an opportunity to join a highly successful team providing support to the Regional Sales Managers by following up on estimates and project leads. Based at our Birmingham office you will help identify target customers, regions and products with Regional Sales Managers for following up and representing Forza Doors with a comprehensive understanding of its products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Account ownership for smaller accounts as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Ability to amend and create small quotes.
  • Chase and report on medium and long-term projects for Regional Sales Managers.
  • Chase orders from pre-agreed accounts.
  • Targeted areas with regards to telemarketing 
  • Attend monthly meetings.
  • Support estimating as and when required.
  • Liaise with Marketing Department on targeted mailshots and help maintain and grow the regional database.

TECHNICAL ADVISOR

Reports To Technical Manager

 

Job Overview

This position is based within our Partridge Green office and is to provide technical support via telephone, email, and face to face methods by assisting staff, customers & suppliers with the provision of technical information, training, and advice. In addition, this role will provide project support to the Technical Management team as determined by them, according to the needs of the business.

Hours of work

08:30 – 17:30 Mon – Fri with one hour unpaid for lunch breaks

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide technical support in response to enquiries from staff & customers by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining compliance via email, telephone and in person. Maintain records of enquiries for analysis.
  • Assist with the administrative functions of the Technical Department as required.
  • Provide technical support to the Sales Team. This could be answering a simple query or technically supporting a specific project for its duration.
  • Provide technical support to assist our marketing operation. This, for example, may take the form of arranging drawings, imagery, literary content, or technical data. It may well be appropriate on occasion to procure content or data from others who have an interest in or the capacity to provide this.
  • Assist with compilation of data to enable applications for engineering assessments with our fire consultants.
  • Record & monitor compliance data provision and update this data, as necessary.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining professional networks. Undertake training as required by the company to maintain & enhance our knowledge base within the company.
  • Become familiar with the technical documentation which underpins the Technical Department such as Field of Application Reports under IFC and BM Trada and sector documentation such as British Standards, Approved Documents and Government advice.
  • Create and maintain a record of continuous professional development by availing yourself of opportunities to support this via training courses, experience opportunities and seeking and recording details of demonstrable advice which you may give to others from time to time.
  • When requested by Technical Management, attend meetings and/or testing facilities which may require travel and short stays away from home on occasions.
  • Maintain daily operational duties within the Technical Department in the absence of the Technical Directors whilst they might be necessarily engaged in other duties away from the unit base.
  • Any other relevant & reasonable duty as requested by the technical management team.

PRODUCTION OPERATIVES

We're looking to add operators to our day shift team in our factories.

We will provide all training.

40 hour basic week over 5 days £10.64 ph

Overtime available during the week and weekends at £15.96 ph

CNC OPERATORS

We are seeking CNC operators for our two new Biesse Rover 1532 5-axis CNC machines.

All training will take place to obtain a certificate to work as a professional CNC programmer.

Would suit someone who has experience in a factory and is confident when using a computer.
