IRONMONGERY & PREPARATION
R120 butt hinge. ref HIS-BSS-102 (brushed stainless steel) min 1&1/2 pair
R120 overhead power closer. ref CLR-BSS-103 / Mortise lock / latch R120 sash lock BOM-LCK -103.
Doors to be factory pre-machined for locks, hinges and other ironmongery.

PERIMETER SEALS
Factory fitted to leaf(s)/ frame, pvc cased intumescent/smoke/acoustic seals to manufacturers choice to meet fire & smoke control and sound insulation as specified in applicable test report or assessment. (Combined seals permitted).
Intumescent size: timber frame head/jambs 2 no. 20 x 4mm H120 (5mm either side of the centre line).
Leaf head/vertical edge 1 no 15 x 2mm central fit.
Bottom edge of leaf 1.no.38 x 2mm.

FIRE RESISTANCE RATING
FD120: 120 minutes to BS 476: Part 22:1987.
FD120S: 120 minutes to BS 476: Part 22:1987 & cold smoke control to BS 476 Part 31.  section 31.1.

SOUND INSULATION

Weighted Sound Reduction Index (Rw) 35dBrw single leaf non glazed.
Rating according to BS EN ISO 717-1:1997 from tests and measurements conducted.

SITE CONDITIONS
Conditions for storage, handling, stacking and covering during installation to comply with manufacturer's instructions.
Post installation temperature to be in region 12°c to 21°c and relative humidity range 40% to 60%.

INSTALLATION
Fix door(s) and timber frame in accordance with manufacturer's installation guide and BS 8214:2008 (Code of practice for fire door assemblies).
