FCH90 Three layer wood particleboard with a combination of chemical and engineering. Development to produce a high performance door core. Average bulk density 630kgs/m3 Weight 64mm; Nom 41kgs/m2.
        

LIPPINGS
Concealed / exposed near match timber hardwood lipping (640kg/m3) to two vertical edges only before / after applying face finish. Standard 4mm finished square.
For HPL & PVC face finish: 3mm PVC / Abs edge applied to all four edges. Single leaf only.

TIMBER FRAME FINISH AS DELIVERED
To compliment veneered door(s)
Two coats of high-solid acid-catalyst lacquer, clear/tinted, 20% gloss / other

Factory fitted to leaf(s)/ frame, pvc cased intumescent/smoke/acoustic seals to manufacturers choice to meet fire & smoke control and sound insulation as specified in applicable test report or assessment. (Combined seals permitted).
Intumescent size: for timber frame head & jambs 1no. 25 x 6mm, (8mm in from open face of frame), leaf head & vertical edges 1no. 15 x 6mm (40mm in from open face of frame) bottom edge of leaf 1no. 50 x 2mm (central).
Meeting stiles square 1no. 15 x 6mm (40mm in from open face of active leaf) 1no. 25 x 6mm (8mm in from open face of inactive leaf)
For steel frame 1no. 60 x 1 mm in frame reveal head and stiles (centrally in frame) bottom of leaf
1no 50 x 1mm double leaves.
Fitted meeting stile as per timber frame.

SITE CONDITIONS
Conditions for storage, handling, stacking and covering during installation to comply with manufacturer's instructions.
Post installation temperature to be in region 12°c to 21°c and relative humidity range 40% to 60%.

INSTALLATION
Fix door(s) and timber/steel frame(s) in accordance with manufacturer's Installation guide and BS 8214:2008 (Code of practice for fire door assemblies).
