The new FD60S Double Action Pivot Door
We're excited to announce our new product, the FD60S Double Action Pivot Door a breakthrough in fire and smoke door design.
Published 14 May 2026
The FD60S Double Action Pivot Door is a fully tested fire door with ingrained smoke control, designed to meet both performance and design expectations. Supporting double-door configurations, it gives sub-contractors, architects and designers the creative freedom to produce functional spaces while ensuring full compliance with British Standard requirements.
Pivot doors offer a sleek, modern aesthetic and a smooth, effortless swing, but they also pose unique challenges compared to traditional hinged doors. To overcome these, Forza developed a custom threshold seal system that ensures smooth operation while maintaining rigorous protection. The result is a double-action pivot door with fully tested fire and smoke performance, offering designers and specifiers a safe yet sophisticated solution.
Safety has been ingrained into every aspect of the design. The door achieves a 60-minute FD60 fire rating with ingrained smoke control, meaning it provides exceptional fire and smoke protection for up to an hour and fully certified to British Standards.
This innovative system delivers a modern aesthetic by supporting innovative, minimal corridor designs. The door’s pivot functionality allows it to sit flush with walls for a sleek, contemporary look, all without compromising on fire or smoke protection.
