Employee Spotlight: Technical Lead Commercial Dovile Pratapaviciute
From starting in Sales Order Processing to progressing through multiple roles, Dovile plays a vital role in supporting customer enquiries and delivering expert guidance.

This month, we’re shining a spotlight on our Technical Lead-Commercial, who is celebrating five years with Forza Doors. Originally from Lithuania, Dovile Pratapaviciute began her journey in Sales Order Processing before progressing through several roles, including Junior Technical Advisor.
Over the past eight months, she has stepped into her current position, bringing with her a wealth of cross-departmental experience and a deep understanding of the business.
A journey of growth and confidence
Dovile’s career at Forza Doors is a testament to personal and professional growth. Starting out as a quieter member of the team, she credits her development to the supportive environment and the company’s “Make Your Mark” value. Working within a predominantly male industry has challenged her to step outside of her comfort zone and build confidence in her day-to-day role. This experience has not only shaped her mindset but also broadened her perspective on how her work contributes to innovation within both the company and the wider industry.
During her time at Forza Doors, Dovile has achieved an impressive list of qualifications and accolades, including: 100% in her FDIS course, Microsoft Office Award with all distinctions and completion of her Foundation Course with the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI). Beyond formal qualifications, she has also played a key role in supporting technical resources, website development and internal communication being fluent in both Lithuanian and English, thus expanding her skill set far beyond her original role.
Behind the scenes in Technical
Dovile is often the driving force behind the Technical inbox, managing enquiries and collaborating with multiple departments to deliver solutions for customers. This role has given her valuable insight into the wider business, as well as regular interaction with the factory team.
Despite being office-based, she values the connection with on-site operations, working on some weekends with the wider factory teams, she has described it as refreshing and an important part of understanding the full customer journey.
Within the technical team, she highlights a strong sense of trust, respect, and collaboration. Each team member brings unique skills, creating a close-knit environment where everyone contributes to a shared success.
As Forza Doors continues to grow, Dovile is focused on building on her hands-on experience while continuing her professional development. Her ambition is to further enhance her knowledge and provide even greater support to both colleagues and customers.
Describing her role as challenging, inspiring, and ever-evolving, she emphasises that no two days are the same, something that continues to motivate her. As such, Dovile is passionate about encouraging others to pursue careers in manufacturing and technical roles:
