Blending decades of experience with a readiness for change, Trevor Card has built his career on guiding projects from start to finish, solving challenges others might walk away from.
Four years into his journey with Forza, he brings the benefit of a lifetime in construction to clients, ensuring that even the most complex, compliance-driven builds are delivered with certainty.
Trevor has been in construction since leaving school — running his own business, working with local contractors and leading delivery teams on large-scale fit-outs. When he first joined Forza, it was through people he already knew.
He hadn’t planned on taking a full-time role, but found he couldn’t close the door on such a positive experience. With a strong core team and a culture where people tend to stay, Forza offered an environment that matched his values while continuing to grow alongside long-standing partners.
That ethos is clear in his work. From heritage buildings such as Hertford College in Oxford, where bespoke fire door solutions demand precision and compliance, to large-scale fit-outs involving thousands of doors, Trevor’s focus is on guiding clients through complexity. He helps architects and contractors understand what’s possible — and where compromise might be needed — drawing on both test evidence and trusted partner relationships to find solutions.
Clients value his tenacity. “By the time drawings reach site, things are still changing,” he says. “The easy option is to step back. But I’ll work through the push and pull with you, making sure the end result performs as it should.”
For Trevor, collaboration is as much about relationships as technical skill. He’s known for taking time to walk sites, have a coffee with delivery teams, and get to know the people behind the build. It’s that combination of technical expertise and human connection that makes him such a trusted partner — and if you happen to be a golfer, you may find common ground there too.
In his words: “It’s not about being perfect every time. It’s about making the experience a good one, protecting clients from surprises, and getting the job done right.” A sentiment that reflects not just his own approach, but the partnerships Forza has built project by project over the past 15 years.
