DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Forza timber &/or MDF frame fire screen solutions provide a comprehensive range of Standard Elevations comprising glazed and door modules providing 60 minute fire resistance performance when adjudged against BS476: part 22:1987. 30 & 60 minute insulation is available dependant on glass specified as are mullion free elevations.

Forza Timber Framed Glazed Screens comply with the structural guidelines recommended in BS5234-2 Partitions 1992 and BS6180-2011 Barriers in and about Buildings, Code of Practice.

LINER & BEAD
TIMBER
Hardwood of minimum density 640kg/m3. Timber quality and moisture content in accordance with BS EN 942: 1996. 
Perimeter liner & vertical mullions: minimum depth 104mm x minimum thickness 32mm
Door mullion/frame & Transoms: minimum depth 104mm x minimum thickness 44mm
Flush Bead: minimum depth (to suit glass) x minimum thickness 27mm
MDF
Perimeter liner/door & vertical mullion/transoms: minimum depth 104mm x minimum thickness 45mm
Veneer wrap MDF of minimum density 700Kg/m3 edge lipped with 4-9mm hardwood timber.
Moisture content in accordance with BS EN 942:1996
Flush bead (timber): minimum depth (to suit glass) x minimum thickness 27mm.

TIMBER & MDF FRAME FINISH AS DELIVERED
Clear/tinted: two coats of high solid acid-catalyst lacquer, 20% gloss / other Stained ….. Colour & finished with two coats high solid acid catalyst lacquer
Paint: two coats pigmented precat lacquer
For onsite finishing by others:
Pre-cat primer unsanded for onsite denib & coat with either standard water based latex / acrylic or oil based (alkyd) topcoat paint.

All fire glasses recommended for use with Forza fire screens comply with the recommendations on class of safety glass to be used in critical locations as determined in table 1 of BS6262-4:2005 glazing for Buildings Part 4: Code of practice for safety related to human impact. Forza Timber Framed Screens tested in accordance with BS5234-2 (methods - Annex A/C/E/F) achieved performance levels summarised as grade requirement Severe Duty and comply with the recommended maximum deflection as a result of horizontal imposed loads detailed in BS6180-2011 Barriers in and about Buildings.

TIMBER MOISTURE CONTENT ON DELIVERY
Comply with BS EN 942:2007 service climate 12-21° c / above 21° c .12 %

SITE CONDITIONS
Conditions for storage, handling, stacking and covering of timber framing and glass panels during installation to comply with manufacturer's instructions.
Post installation temperature to be in region 12°c to 21°c and relative humidity range 40% to 60%.

INSTALLATION
Fix timber frame(s), glass panel's seals and bead in accordance with Forza Glazed fire screen Installation guide.
