Sandbanks Luxury Residential Project
Nestled along the Dorset coastline, the Sandbanks peninsula stands as a testament to nature's artistry. This slender stretch of golden sand, sculpted by tidal forces and cliff erosion, has evolved from humble beginnings into one of the world's most coveted addresses. In the early 1900s, the area was dotted with modest wooden shacks, serving as rustic holiday retreats. The interwar period marked a turning point, with the introduction of the steam-driven chain ferry to Studland in 1926 catalysing the area's transformation. As its popularity surged, a wave of architectural innovation swept across the peninsula, giving rise to an array of stylish houses and bungalows.
Today, Sandbanks has ascended to the pinnacle of British beach resorts, earning monikers such as 'The Golden Mile' and 'Britain's Palm Beach'. Its appeal lies not just in its pristine beaches but also in its world-class marinas and water sports facilities, rivalling those found in international hotspots like Miami. The area's exclusivity is reflected in its property values. In March 2023, a property spanning just 2,909 sq ft sold for an astonishing £13.5 million, translating to £4,640 per square foot. This benchmark surpasses the per-square-foot values seen in global property hotspots such as Monaco, London, New York, and Hong Kong.
Our featured property embodies the essence of contemporary luxury living. This three-storey, three-bedroom residence is a masterclass in harnessing natural light and space. The journey begins in a welcoming reception hall, where double doors unveil a ground floor lounge. Here, expansive folding patio doors dissolve the boundary between indoor comfort and outdoor beauty, offering seamless access to the manicured garden. A striking timber and glass staircase guides you to the first floor, where the master bedroom commands breathtaking harbour views, complete with an en-suite bathroom. Two additional bedrooms overlook the tranquil garden setting. The pièce de résistance awaits on the second floor—an expansive open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area. This space serves as the perfect vantage point to savour the stunning sea vistas, embodying the pinnacle of relaxed, luxurious living.
To bring this architectural vision to life, LG Building—an award-winning construction firm with over two decades of expertise in domestic and commercial projects across Dorset and Hampshire—partnered with Forza Doors for a truly impactful interior design element.
"Forza's service and quality went above and beyond our expectations. After having trouble with another door manufacturer we approached Forza Doors and explained we had 8 weeks left on programme. The next day their Sales Manager was in my office and within 3 days all designs and door schedules were complete. Five weeks later all 43 bespoke doors were on site."Paddy Tupper - LG Building Site Manager |
Standing at an impressive 2.5 metres, the floor-to-ceiling doors command attention while meeting stringent FD30 fire safety standards. For a touch of elegance, Niveus eucalyptus inlays—also from the Forza Creato range—are positioned 150mm from the edge, creating a subtle and effective visual detail.
