Forza - Defining Doors

Primed for Paint

Door and Panel Face Prepared

Forza Readyprime is an advanced Primed Medium Density Overlay (PMDO) paper lining system providing a sanded (240 grit), uniform, light coloured surface ready to receive a suitable top coat(s).

The design of the product incorporates a thermoset acrylic latex primer coat that provides excellent adhesion and compatability for the majority of commercially available standard water based latex/acrylic or oil based (alkyd) paints applied on site by either roller or brush.

Forza Readyprime is also suitable for sprayshop application of either PreCat or Acid Catalyst Pigmented topcoat lacquers using the following standard method of operation PreCat:

A.1 - Coat PreCat Pigmented topcoat - Minimum drying time 45 minutes - max coat 30 microns

B. Denib with 320 Silicone Carbide Paper

C.1 - Coat Precat Pigmented topcoat  - Minimum drying time 45 minutes before packaging - max coat 30 microns

Acid Catalyst.

A.1 - Coat a/c white Primer - Minimum drying time 1 hours - max coat 45 microns

B. Denib with 320 Silicone Carbide Paper

C.1- Coat a/c pigmented topcoat - Minimum drying time 2 hours before packaging - max coat 40 microns

Full resistance properties are achieved in 14-28 days from application.

Timber Frames

Forza timber frames for paint are supplied as standard prepared with a PreCat primer sanded with a 240 Silicone carbide paper suitable for on site application by brush or roller with either a standard water based latex/acrylic or oil based (alkyd) topcoat paint.

For sprayshop application of pigmented lacquers the following operation should be adhered to PreCat:

A.1 - Coat Precat Pigmented topcoat -Minimum drying time 45 minutes - max coat 30 microns

B. Denib with 320 Silicone Carbide Paper

C.1 - Coat Precat Pigmented topcoat   - Minimum drying time 45 minutes before packaging - max coat 30 microns.

We do not recommend the use of A/C pigmented topcoat lacquer for application on PreCat primer lacquer.

If it is necessary to use A/C pigmented topcoat lacquer please discuss with our production team who will prime the timbers with A/C white primers.
