Technical Briefing - Forza Glazed Timber Framed Screens

A typical elevation of a Forza Glazed Timber Framed Screen has been tested at the British test centre in accordance with BS5234-2 (methods-Annex A/C/E/F) and achieved performance levels summarised as grade requirement SEVERE DUTY. An additional test (Annex G) – 'Determination of resistance to crowd pressure' was carried out with an applied line load of 3.75kN across the two central mullions giving a result maximum displacement of 21.1mm. This result is within the guidelines set out in BS6180-2011 'Barriers in and about Buildings'.
